FreeSport 2011FreeSport, part of the Mayor's Sports Legacy Programme, is a small grants programme enabling sports clubs, organisations, youth groups and community groups to apply for grants of up to £1,500 to run free sporting activities between 1 December 2011 and 31 March 2012. FreeSport provides free sporting opportunities to Londoners, of all ages and abilities, to encourage greater participation in sport and physical activity in the build up to the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and beyond, and helps organisations deliver a grass-roots sporting legacy across London.
